Meal Options

Retreat groups may opt to prepare their own meals with full access to our beautiful kitchen (fee applies). Meal preparation can often be integrated into retreat themes emphasizing service to each other.

Many retreat groups also build in other creative meal solutions to alleviate the expense and load of bringing supplies for several meals over the course of a weekend. Some groups plan to have students bring a sack lunch for the first lunch. Others supplement meals with healthy snack items. There are many nearby delicatessens and pizza restaurants, too, that can make a lunch easy. Marello Youth Retreat Center can provide information on these restaurants as requested.

For oblate-directed retreats, contact Marello Youth Retreat Center for details about limited meal preparation for overnight retreats including a Continental Breakfast, deli lunch and a hot dinner.
