Marello Youth Retreat Center is designed expressly for youth retreats. Youth will enjoy a large open meeting facility with wall dividers to create smaller rooms for meetings and sleeping.

- Sleeping Bag & Pillow*
- Towels and Wash Cloth
- Soap/Shampoo
- Toothbrush/Toothpaste
- Comb/Brush
- Other Personal Items
Additional Suggested Personal Items

- Sweatshirt/Jacket
- Extra Socks
Warmer Weather
- Light Jacket
- Hat or Visor
For Girls
To ensure comfort and ease of movement during “icebreaker” activities, or during times when groups might sit on the floor, we recommend that girls where pants, shorts or other appropriate attire (rather than skirts).
As Necessary
- Medications, (if any) with instructions for chaperones
- Medical insurance card
- Eyeglasses, (if needed)
*There are not individual rooms for retreats. Honoring the parents of the Blessed Mary’s parents, the St. Anne room and the St. Joachim room are set aside for girls and boys, respectively. Girls sleep in the St. Anne room with access to their girls’ restroom facilities and showers. Boys sleep in the St. Joachim room with access to boys’ restroom facilities and showers. This arrangement is particularly welcomed among young people who often prefer being with their friends and sharing their retreat experiences as they turn in for the night. Sleeping mats are provided for extra comfort.
