On this retreat we will take time to consider the following...
Who is St. Joseph Marello?
The Virtue of Obedience…
The Virtue of Service…
Who is St. Joseph?
The Virtue of the Hidden Way…
Our Call to be Extraordinary in Ordinary Things…
-
Amidst considering St. Joseph Marello & St. Joseph, we will take time for prayer, as a group and individually. All for the sake of growing in relationship with God.
-
It is important that we take time to separate from the opposite sex and connect with one another as men and as women. On this retreat, we will take a moment to consider what St. Joseph, the adopted father of Christ, can reveal to us specifically as men and as women.
-
As brothers and sisters in Christ one way we can build each other up is through challenging and supporting one another. On this retreat we will take time for small group discussion to work towards that goal.
-
No retreat is complete without time for games! High energy, competitive, and sometimes strange. It'll be tons of fun!
~We thank you, O Father, for the life, ministry, and holiness of Saint Joseph Marello. Twenty-five years after his Canonization, his example of dedication to the “interests of Jesus” and his priestly life shine with the light of your Son, the Good Shepherd. Attracted to Saint Joseph, the husband of Mary, he imitated his hidden service, nourished by profound interiority. We ask you, O Father, to remain united with you, docile to the Spirit in all our actions, simply Oblates, “true disciples of Jesus Christ.” Amen.~
